The bleeding and venting valve EB 3.52 is specially designed for start-up operation and is used in a biorefinery in the German federal state of Saxony-Anhalt.
As standard, the floats are designed for water with a density of 997 kg/m³. In this case, the EB 3.52 is arranged on a pipe with pure ethanol (density 789 kg/m³). The special shape of the float also ensures pressure resistance and allows it to be used for light liquids.
