Special solution –
Back pressure regulator RP 820So
- Destination: Middle East
- Target sector: Oil and gas
- Valves: 1 pc. in DN 150
- Special feature: Millibar control valve with pilot system incl. pressure reducing valve and back pressure regulator
The pilot-controlled back pressure regulator RP 820So is used in a natural gas liquefaction plant (NGL), where it is in charge of tank blanketing. The nitrogen required for this is controlled to 0.035 bar. The flow volume is 229 - 1000 kg/h.
A back pressure regulator UV 3.0 is installed as a pilot valve for precise millibar control. A pressure reducing valve DM 505 is installed upstream of the pilot valve. It ensures that the back pressure regulator UV 3.0 is provided with a constant inlet pressure.
