The pilot-controlled pressure reducing valve RP 810 Eck is installed in the cooling and sealing gas system of a power plant. The valve is designed for a maximum pressure drop of 25 bar. In this application, it regulates the air from 61 down to 29 bar.

Hydraulic damping was installed due to the compressible medium. It is used to prevent vibrations in the valve and to ensure precise pressure control.
